Deciding where to eat out in Pátzcuaro can seem confusing for visitors unfamiliar with the area. Fortunately locals are extremely friendly and always willing to recommend their favorite taco stand, bakery, café or restaurant.
I've endeavored to list here the most highly recommended and popular places where I wouldn't hesitate to take my own family and friends so that you can be comfortable going with yours, even if it's just for a pastry and coffee at a local bakery, a corunda and hot chocolate at a small café or a special occasion at an elegant restaurant with fine dining.
Please advise me of any errors or updates. Also, if I've omitted an establishment you believe should be listed please let me know. Likewise, if you feel any establishment here should not be recommended, I would like to know about it.
