They just kept coming and coming and drums kept beating and music kept blaring. Some schools ignored the city's recommendations to stick with traditional Mexican music and played some techno junk. Several folks in the crowd could be heard yelling "¿Dónde está el tubo?" (Where's the pole?), a local joke since so many schools appear to be training nightclub dancers instead of instilling cultural values and traditions. I won't take any video or photos of those schools.
Obviously the charros and the adelitas are a favorite with many of us. =)
