There was a great interview from 8 to 10 this morning on Miguel Moran's program with Doña Cari sharing her priceless recollections of a lifetime (97 years and counting) in Zihuatanejo growing up, teaching, meeting presidents and other historical personalities, making movies, and becoming the first regidora (female councilperson) in Zihuatanejo's first municipal government. She ended her interview pleading that we "all unite, arm in arm, hand in hand, and heart to heart to protect the bay. No new pier in the bay!"
P.S. She just celebrated her 97th birthday this year on October 7.
